A little explanation? Sure... Personally for me there is more fear in the demons than in the angel, a being of the light in their world must cause them extraordinary pain, enough pain for them to drive themselves insane trying to destroy it and rid themselves of its presence. The angel, accordingly to the quote, is not in fear... But not fearing the evil does not mean it cannot feel the pain.
